Dobbs:
Dobbs is the newest member of the SFPH family. He was the only surviving kitten in his litter; and he was born with life threatening birth defects. In addition to having too many toes on all four feet, part of his intestines and his liver were in a pouch in his chest cavity (diaphragmatic hernia); making it difficult for him to breathe. Our thanks to Dr. Kerpsack and the staff at the Central Texas Specialty Hospital for performing his surgery and saving his life. He is making up for lost time – he was only three pounds at the time of his surgery – he gained two pounds in the next two weeks. This picture shows him with Julie W. on the day he came home from his surgery. |
